The camera never lies

When there is so much love, the camera never lies.

Nervous glances;  knowing looks; trusting, calming contact,  just can't be faked.  The more I stop and look at people and animals, even if it is just for the hour I am photographing them, the more I am learning about relationships. I have read that the key to photographing wildlife is to be able to predict and be prepared for their next move - and every animal has different signs to read (this is great advise for following any living being with a lens:  Teenage humans are, I have found, the least predictable).

So, on one afternoon in early fall, just as the searing Texas temperatures and unrelenting humidity were beginning to stall, I was lucky enough to enjoy some time with Bree and her human.  The camera never lies.
